| UPDATE: May 1, 2010 at 1:09 PM Foxx Trotter hasn't gone away completely...yet. I add three more photos to the Scenic Picturesque section which were taken last year. This includes another of the numerous waterfalls in the Ithaca and Watkins Glen areas of New York State. There are two more I'll attempt to get when go back up in July...Hector Falls and Ithaca Falls. Another trip to Grayson Highlands State Park in Virginia is also in order when the rhododendrons are in full bloom next month. Instead of heading south on the Appalachian Trail, I will be going north this time toward the Scales and taking some pictures along the upper end of the region. Expect something new within the next couple months. I may have one or two in-betweens that I've yet to post. I'll be looking back through my files to make sure I haven't missed anything since it's been quite awhile since I last updated. By the way, I deleted my MySpace page since I was hardly ever on it but I still have the one on Facebook. Toodles! UPDATE: June 22, 2009 at 7:59 PM Goody-goody gosh! AN UPDATE!! I added a couple more photos to the Scenic Picturesque section as well as one in the Danger Zone. I've also posted a few more links, including three more webcomic sites. Take a gander at these. I'll be heading back to New York State at the end of July. I plan on stopping by Centralia, Pennsylvania on the way back and taking some photos of the area affected by the underground mine fire which has been ongoing since 1962. Lately though, I haven't had much free time since I've been working six days a week. Hopefully, you'll see more pictures soon. Later, gators! UPDATE: September 2, 2008 at 12:51 AM Yes...long time no update. I posted photos from my Adirondack hike to Algonquin Peak in late July up in New York State. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the summit due to time constraints. Anyways, I was able to get some decent shots. I'm hoping to get over to Stone Mountain near Elkin, North Carolina within the next couple months. First though, I have to wait for my left wrist to heal as I broke it during the Adirondack hike. Expect new pictures soon. The Panoramio section will be updated later on. Until then, take care all! UPDATE: May 7, 2008 at 8:45 PM Foxx Trotter posted some new goodies. Go check 'em out. I'll post a more detailed news post later. UPDATE: December 8, 2007 at 2:52 PM Many photos from my Alabama trip in late October were posted a few weeks ago along with a couple from Great Dismal Swamp in Virginia which were put up earlier today. I'm hoping to get out to Stone Mountain State Park near Elkin, North Carolina within the next few weeks and take some shots out there. Expect more pictures soon. If I don't update before Christmas, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. Until next time... UPDATE: October 9, 2007 at 6:06 PM I don't have much to update on right now, other than North Carolina still needs a truckload of rain to ease this horrendous drought situation. Next week, I'll be going to Alabama to visit relatives. Expect more photos soon, as I have some covered bridges I still need to get down there as well as some fall foliage stuff. It's still too early for decent colors here...another couple of weeks yet. Oh yeah, I'm on deviantART now at http://foxxtrotter.deviantart.com. Many of my pictures are on there as well as a few different ones which are not on this site. Have a look and see. More photos will be forthcoming. Stay tuned. UPDATE: August 11, 2007 at 9:43 PM As many can see, I've added plenty of photos since my last news update. What I didn't do was update the news section. Anyways, I've added many images to different sections of my website including pictures from the Adirondack High Peaks Region of New York State and Mount Mitchell State Park in North Carolina. I also posted some photos from Adam Owen and Tonia Cheevers from some of their trips as well. Thanks to both. The Porta Photo Album section has been removed. It was getting to be too much of a hassle due to the Yahoo! GeoCities setup in the way of adding files to run the program. I changed the music on the main page...a new age song by Elan Michaels. On the entry page, I listed my top fifteen most view photos on Panoramio. Have a look at that too. I'm still sorting through other images to post on my site, so stay tuned for more cool scapes. Until then, see the world! UPDATE: May 4, 2007 at 2:11 AM Happy Birthday to me! Unfortunately, I have to work...poot. Anyways, new photos have been posted on my website. Special thanks to my friend Adam Owen for the Mojave Desert images in Nevada, along with the Congaree Swamp photo in South Carolina. I went to the Great Dismal Swamp on Easter, and those are posted on here as well. In order to get to Lake Drummond from the Washington Ditch Trail, I took my bicycle. It would have taken almost three hours to travel the 4 1/2 miles on foot. On a bike, it's only 40 minutes. My trip would have been better if I could have gotten more shots of the area wildlife, but with some, one couldn't even get 100 yards without them running off. Maybe I'll have better luck when I take the Jericho Ditch Trail on my next trip. By the way, the Porta Photo Album section will be updated soon to include these. I have yet to visit Mount Mitchell State Park. Possibly, that will happen within the next couple weeks before I go to the Grayson Highlands in early June. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that posted many of my pictures on the photoshare site Panoramio. Through them, they are also posted on Google Earth for many around the world to see. The strange thing is seeing the number of views on images you'd least expect having. Thanks to those who have taken a gander. It's greatly appreciated. OK, nighty-night time. Toodleloo!
